Liberty Shade and Awning Guarantee
12-Year Limited Warranty, Liberty Home Shades
Liberty Home Products, Inc. warrants to the original purchaser its awning frames, fabric covers, thread/seams, motors and electronics, if so equipped, to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal and intended use for the following duration commencing from the date of installation:
- The framework is warrantied for a period of twelve (12) years.
- The fabric cover and sewing/seams are warrantied for a period of ten (10) years.
- The frame finish is warrantied for a period of two (2) years.
- Electronic motors and accessories are warrantied for a period of five (5) years.
- Installations are warrantied for a period of one (1) year.
- Readjustments for motors, controls, or awning slopes will be charged at the current standard service rate.
Any defects in the awning must be reported to Liberty Home Products within the warranty period listed above. Under this warranty, Liberty Home Products, Inc. reserves the right to repair or replace those parts which have been returned or are deemed defective. If any item is replaced due to a warranty claim, the warranty is not extended on the replaced item, but rather applies to the original warranty period.
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by misuse or abuse, and acts of nature such as wind, tornadoes, hail, snow loads, rain/water accumulation, flooding, fire or vandalism. Liberty Home Products is not responsible for defects caused by faulty installation, re-installation, or service not performed by Liberty Home Products authorized personnel. Liberty Home Products, Inc. shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages, loss or injury. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, but you may also have additional or other rights which may vary from state to state.
Liberty Steel Product Warranty
Liberty Home Products, Inc. warrants to the original purchaser its steel products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal and intended use for the following duration commencing from the date of installation:
Warranty from date of install:
- Installation (labor) – 90 days
- Paint – 2 years
- Parts – 1 year
- Steel Frame – Lifetime
- Polycarbonate – Lifetime
After 90 days, a service charge will be assessed for labor performed at the job site.
Installation (labor): 90 day warranty
Any problem that occurs due to a defect in material or workmanship within 90 days of installation will be taken care of on site at no extra charge.
Parts: 1 year warranty
For one year from date of install, Liberty Home Products will cover the cost of defective parts in need of repair. If the problem within this year is:
- Within 90 days of install, we will service at the job site for no extra charge
- After 90 days, the part can be brought to the factory for a free exchange OR a service technician can come to the job site to remedy the problem for a service charge.
Paint: 2 year warranty
For two years, Liberty Home Products will cover paint jobs from fading, rusting, blistering, cracking, and peeling. Scratches from pets or misuse are not covered. After 90 days, a service charge for labor to remove and reinstall door will apply, there will be no charge for repaint/materials.
